The wild spinner dolphins usually arrive in the shallow bays along the coastline early in the morning and spend their day resting and playing before going back out to the deeper water to feed.
Wearing a mask, snorkel, and fins it is usually a short swim out into the bays to be around the dolphins. Each person has a buddy and there are also experienced swimmers on the staff that oversee the group. We bring along flotation devices for people to hold onto should they need to.
As a group we can spend up to a couple of hours observing and interacting with the dolphins. We quietly float together as our own human pod and let them initiate the interaction when they want to play and give them their space when they are in a resting phase.
