While on Maui I went on two whale watching trips. There were a dozen boats leaving Lahaina Harbor 3-4 times daily and every boat was full! There were whales spouting and breaching all around our group for as far as the eye could see. We saw mothers and their calves and males posturing with each other to escort females.

And all the people on board the boats were elated and ecstatically joyful. You could see that they were deeply touched by the whales energetic expression of their vitality, aliveness, and joy. They came away from the trip with a deeper appreciation for and connection to the precious whales.
