The Sea Shepherd Ship, The Steve Irwin, has located the Japanese Whaling fleet in the Antartica 360 miles south of Heard Island and has their factory ship,the Nisshin Maru, on the run. Sea Shepherd says the japanese are poachers targeting endangered whales in a whale sanctuary in blatant violation of a global moratorium on whaling. They are as much criminals as elephant or mountain gorilla poachers.
