Sea Shepherd has drawn the world’s attention to the Canadian Seal slaughter. They have been monitoring the seal slaughter for the last few weeks and recently the Canadian Coast Guard illegally boarded and confiscated the Sea Shepherd ship, Farley Mowat.
The story is being covered internationally and the image of the slaughter of the seals is being published worldwide. Captain Paul Watson said, “Last week I jokingly said that the best publicity we could get is if Canada storms the vessel in international waters but I did not think they were that stupid. It appears that I was wrong.”
