11/5/10 letter and book hand delivered to Kazuaki Kubo, Consul General of Japan

November 4th, 2010 · Consul general of japan letter

11/5/10

Dear Kazuaki Kubo,

I have been interacting with dolphins and whales since 1989 and have come to the understanding that they are highly intelligent sentient beings that have much more to share with humans than their blubber on a dinner table.

I am writing to you with the hope that you will be open to receiving and reading my book, Mesages From The Dolphins. I write on 5 subjects- true nature, communication, raising children, the environment, and war. It includes my own insights and that of the dolphins and whales.

I would also like to invite you to come on one of my Hawaii trips where I take people to swim, observe, and interact with wild spinner dolphins. You will be able to see for yourself what the true world of the dolphins is like and then make a determination as to whether or not you want your people to have a peaceful relationship with dolphins and whales or to continue killing them.

For more information about my trips and the world of the dolphins and whales please go to my web/blog site www.dolphinsmile.org . I look forward to hearing  from you soon

Respectfully,

Scott Olson

P.S I sent this same letter to Prime Minister Yasuao Fukado along with my book on February 11, 2008.

Unfortunately I never got a response back.

Worldwide Anti-Whaling Day November 5, 2010

November 1st, 2010 · Peacful Whales, Whale Encounters, Whale News

Worldwide Anti-Whaling Day is on November 5, 2010. Peaceceful demonstrations against whaling will be held at many cities around the world. Because you have been subscribed to my post’s, I imagine that you love Cetaceans, and so encourage you to attend one of the gatherings if you are in the area. google it for more info.

I am calling it Whale Celebration Day as I think being anti often just makes the anti’s more hard nosed and resistant to being told that they are wrong. So I am going to get together with like minded people and celebrate the fact that whales… these mysterious behemouths of the sea… do exist…. and I have had the good fortune to  peer into their marvelous world.

Dolphin Swim Testamonial

October 15th, 2010 · Dolphin Swim Testamonial

Here is a recent testamonial from one of my June 2010 Dolphin Swim group participants.

” I’ve had a dream about swimming with the dolphins for about 20 years. This is the year(2010) it all came together. Thank you, Scott, for being patient in the water. I felt safer knowing you were keeping an eye on me. It was exciting when we could see the dolphins headed our way. They are so magnificent !! They glide effortlessly through the water, reminding me to do the same with my life. It was great to be on vacation and still eat healthy food. I really enjoyed all the tropical fruits and fresh fish. Than you, Scott, for helping me see Hawaii and the dolphins through your eyes. ”

Aloha, Patti

Hookena, Hawaii Pastel Drawings

July 11th, 2010 · Dolphin Encounters

I lived on the Big Island of Hawaii from 2003 – 2005 and worked as a caretaker at an ocean front estate. This place just so happened to be one of Queen Liliuokalani’s favorite places to vacation. I took up pastel drawing and here the drawing that I did of the old homestead that was built in 1909.
