Dolphin Smile

As well as swimming with the wild spinner dolphins in the morning we will go to some wonderful snorkeling spots with beautiful coral reefs and an abundance of tropical fish and sea turtles. Within walking distance of where we will be staying is a sunny beach to hang out and get a tan as well as a Queen’s bath to swim in. We will take a day trip t0 Madam Pele’s land, the Volcano National Park, on the Hilo side where we will walk through the Thurston lava tube, fern forest, and hike into the dormant Kilauea caldera crater. This one of my favorite areas of the island as it is a magical experience to be so close to new earth. If the lava is flowing near the end of the chain of craters road we will hike out to see it. We will also take a trip to the Pololu lookout at the northern tip of the the island and hike to a black sand beach. This is a sampling of the island adventures that we will be doing.
