Captain Paul Watson, founder and president of Sea Shepherd, spoke at Colorado College. His main message was that individuals who are passionate about taking care of our planets marvelous species can make a difference and now is the time to take action because, as most peole know, many species are on the verge of becoming extinct.

I believe in non-violent protest and I also support Sea Shepherd trying to protect the whales by intervening in the Japanese whaling operation. There is a beautiful letter of support written by the Dalai Lama on their web site. Please take the time to read it.
