Court orders whalers out of Aussie waters

The Australian Federal Court has ordered the Japanese Whalers to stop killing Whales in Australian Arctic waters. The Humane Society launched legal action against Kyodo Senpaku Kaisha Ltd in 2004 claiming the company had illegally slaughtered minke and fin whales since the sanctuary was declared in 2000. Japanese Whalers Release Captives

The Japanese Whalers released the two Sea Shepherd crew that they had taken captive. Greenpeace is tracking their factory ship and sea shepherd is now following their harpoon ships. it has been 10 days now that the Japanese have been prevented from killing whales.
